Kieran Campbell is a multi-instrumental artist whose practice incorporates sound installations, performances and films that centre upon themes of emotive audience engagement, object personalities and deep connection. Campbell achieves this through the means of rhythm, tones, and motifs, being influenced by the world around us as well as through a keen interest in music, applying these to his practice as an emerging artist and composer/sound designer.
Campbell started out developing short films that focussed on the interplay of different rhythms that wove their way into the creation of both live and recorded performance pieces, now with a return to their roots of composition, all the while maintaining a strong emotional connection to their audience. Campbell is influenced by having a dialogue with sounds that encountered in all aspects of their life, being influenced as well by the music he listens to.
