BA (Hons) Textile Design
Inspiration for this project derives from our seasons and the changes in our organic environments, generating a playful approach to design and expressing the energy behind nature. The bold style of this design-led project will emphasis diversity, allowing prints to be translated for both fashion and interior contexts.
The concept of this project is to bring the ‘Outside In’ (focusing on nature and bringing it into our homes in the form of pattern) and putting the ‘Inside On’ – meaning wearing the patterns in our homes on our garments, dressing as our furniture. With the target market of Habitat, having a series of bold, vibrant and minimal designs was my main focal point.
