BA (Hons) Games Art and Design
I am a Games Art and Design graduate specialising in asset production. I’m most interested in texturing and material creation. Currently I work in Blender, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and UE4. I have also used Maya and ZBrush a considerable amount in the past. I’m very passionate about indie games; my favourites include Outer Wilds, Firewatch, and What Remains of Edith Finch.
I also draw a lot of inspiration from AAA games such as Control, the Witcher 3, and anything Nintendo! Although games themselves are a massive inspiration, I am equally excited about new processes and technology – it will be interesting to see how UE5 and next gen consoles may change things!
Alongside my course, I worked as the 3D artist on a commercial mobile game with some of my peers. I’m now searching for 3D artist/generalist roles in the industry while continuing to work on my portfolio!
